Description
WEICON GMK 2410 is a contact adhesive based on polychloroprene (CR), offering very high initial tack for full-surface bonding. It has been specially designed for the permanently flexible bonding of rubber to rubber and rubber to metal. The adhesive bonds reliably to many other materials, including cellular rubber, leather, felt, insulation materials, textiles and wood. Its easy application makes it an ideal solution for repairs and assembly work in the skilled trades, workshops or DIY projects. Typical applications • Bonding rubber profiles to doors in vehicle or mechanical engineering • Repairing and securing rubber shoe soles • Securing insulation mats and insulating materials • Installing cellular rubber seals in housings or on machinery • Applying felt and textile coverings to vehicle or camper interiors • Flexible bonding of leather to metal or wood • General repair and assembly work requiring an elastic bond • Bonding rubber components at home and in workshops • WEICON GMK 2410 is not suitable for materials such as polystyrene foam, polyethylene, polypropylene parts, flexible PVC foam or PVC synthetic leather.
